Hi Valerie and welcome to the pages of Man On! Can you tell us a little bit about your modelling career?
Ha ha, thanks for having me! So, I’ve been modelling professionally for around 16 years now. It was a natural choice for me as I love fashion and beauty. Around the age of 18 I got a lot of lingerie and glamour modeling gigs. Then my involvement with wrestling gave me even further opportunities.
Can you tell us a bit about you presenting?
I started in professional wrestling but always knew I’d like to parlay my announcing and presenting skills in other areas. I now host tonnes of Comic Cons in the UK which often include celebrity Q&A panels, which are always a blast! I’ve also started venturing into presenting at London Fashion Week and various fashion events around the UK. I’m finally in the second phase of my career which is more varied in terms of genre. I’ll always love wrestling but it’s so exciting to branch out.
What do you miss about living in the US?
Tex-Mex. That is literally the number one thing I cannot duplicate here in the UK. It’s never the same. I grew up in Texas, California and Florida, where Tex-Mex reigns supreme! It’s very odd not to have it readily available to me anymore.
What’s the best thing about having a huge fanbase?
Brands take me a lot more seriously when it comes to influencing and getting presenting work. I think it establishes a sort of trust from the get-go that I have maintained a healthy career that people are interested in following. I’m so grateful for that.
Why should people sign up to your Patreon?
Well the photoshoots keep people entertained, that’s for sure! I design (and star in) my own photoshoots, music videos and live chats. There’s no nudity, but sexy shoots absolutely rule! They’re my favourite. I have a huge lingerie and swimsuit collection and that’s what I mostly pose in, plus there’s a bit of cosplay too. Being able to directly message each individual patron is fascinating too! Everyone has a different story and background, it’s a lot of fun to get to know each person that supports my site.
Do you have any other jobs that keep you busy?
Presenting is my main “gig” for sure. Patreon is a fun bonus and the other type of work I do as I mentioned is being an influencer for various brands and products. My focus is primarily fashion but I often upload beauty, fitness and travel content too.
Lovely stuff. Outside of the day jobs, what do you love doing in your spare time?
I love shopping and hanging out with my girlfriends. You can often find us at a cosy pub giggling over a bottle of wine! I travel a lot for work but if I have free time to book travel for fun I jump at the chance! Then again, during the trip I am vlogging and posting on social media most of the time so it does technically turn into “work”. But I enjoy it so much and it’s a pleasure for me to share the experience with my audience. It’s like they’re right there with me for the journey!
What are you watching on Netflix at the moment?
I just got into a show called Selling Sunset about these sassy girls in real estate living in Hollywood. Since I used to live there it’s nice to watch it and feel sort of home! I also loved Tiger King. It was the craziest, most disturbingly entertaining thrill ride. It deserves all the media hype. Can’t recommend it enough!
What are you doing to keep yourself busy in lockdown?
I’m super active on social media and Patreon. It’s been fun creating my own shoots from home and to have more time to chat with everyone. I’ve actually been super productive redecorating several rooms in the house as well. I’m discovering that interior design is a new passion of mine!
Lastly, what’s the first thing you’ll do once lockdown is over?
I’m outta here! You can catch me on the next plane to Prague, Paris or Malta. I had to cancel trips to those three dreamy locations due to these unfortunate circumstances, so I’ll be making up for lost vacations! Jet set life, here I come!
